(WATCH) J Will Hits Half Court Shot at Knicks Game

It’s no secret, I’m a diehard New York Knicks fan and as a former basketball player when there’s a chance to play, count me in.

My father has always been in the building for some of my biggest moments including when I hit a half-court shot at a Knicks game.

October 4, 2009, the New York Knicks played the New Jersey Nets (Brooklyn Nets) and sometime during the first quarter, I noticed a Knicks employee standing the row in front of me with a clipboard. I nudged my pops who told me to, “see what’s up.”

The question led to a One-Thousand dollar reply, “meet me in Section XXX with 2 minutes left in the second quarter.”

As a participant in the half-court heave contest I was number 9 of 12 shooters (shooters shoot!).
