I now have 82 reasons to to watch the New York Knicks October thru April.
Moments ago, the NBA released the complete game and national TV schedule for the season.
Opening night for the league is Tuesday, October 18 with the New York Knicks starting their season on Wednesday, October 19th at the Memphis Grizzlies on ESPN.
The Knicks will also face the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden on ESPN on December 25th to kick-off the NBA’s Christmas Day games.
The Knicks have 13 nationally televised games (ABC, ESPN, TNT) and will also play on New Year’s Eve and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Any Knicks game at the Garden is a fun time but, it’s an amazing experience to watch a game when a superstar is in town.

The Knicks Top 5 in East
Looking at the schedule and with the addition of Jalen Brunson this summer, I like our chances of being able to compete in the Eastern Conference this season.
Brunson should be a solid floor general all season. I like his ability to find the open man, his ability to break down his defender when given space and his ability to attack the rim opening up our offensive options.
The Knicks are bringing back a majority of their roster from last season which should help the teams chemistry. Brunson and free agent back-up center signee Isaiah Hartenstein will play alongside R.J. Barrett, Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, Obi Toppin, Immanuel Quickley, Derick Rose, Evan, Fournier, Cam Reddish, Quentin Grimes, Jericho Sims, Miles McBride, Feron Hunt and rookie Trevor Keels.

I always judge how good we are as a team over a combined monthly sample of games.
My projections for this season are: a 12-10 record in October/November, a 21-9 record in December/January and a 17-13 record in February/March/April.
Based on this season’s schedule, our current roster and my belief in the blue and orange…the New York Knicks will finish with a 50-32 record during the 2022-2023 season.
Go New York, Go New York, Go!
